Nasolacrimal Duct
The duct connecting the lacrimal sac and the nasal cavity. Tears pass through the nasolacrimal duct after leaving the lacrimal sac.
Nearsightedness
A condition in which light rays from distant objects are focused in front of the retina instead of on it, so that distant objects are not seen clearly. Also known as myopia.
Nevus
A nevus is typically a flat, benign, pigmented area that may appear inside the eye or on its surface. Nevi commonly appear on the choroid (the layer just behind the retina), the iris, and the conjunctiva. Nevi are similar to freckles, and don't typically change or grow.
