Meet Dr. Andrushenko

Irina Andrushenko, O.D. is an optometrist at Desert Vista Eye Specialists, serving patients in the Phoenix area. She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry and committed to providing the highest quality, compassionate eye care. Her clinical expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic ocular diseases and management of pre- and post-surgical eye care.

Dr. Andrushenko earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). After graduating from SCCO, Dr. Andrushenko completed her residency at the Southern Arizona Department of Veteran Affairs.

She served for more than a decade as Chief of the Tséhootsooí Medical Center Optometry Department and its two eye clinics in Fort Defiance and Sanders. Dr. Andrushenko served as the coordinator of the student externship and residency programs in ocular disease at the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital.

She has experience serving as an adjunct clinical professor at MBKU Southern California College of Optometry, MWU Arizona College of Optometry, UAB School of Optometry, and as a clinical assistant professor for the Western University College of Optometry.
